Role Overview As the Director of Business Development, you are responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities within the multifamily property management sector. This role focuses on expanding third‑party management contracts, and strategic partnerships to support the company’s growth objectives. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter with deep industry knowledge, strong relationship‑building skills, and a track record of successful business development in real estate or property management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or related field; MBA or CPM preferred

5+ years of business development experience in multifamily property management, real estate investment, or related industry

Strong network of industry contacts within the multifamily investment or ownership space

Proven ability to close complex deals and grow market share

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Ability to travel regularly for client meetings and industry events

Entrepreneurial mindset with a hunter mentality

Strategic thinker with analytical and financial acumen

Collaborative and persuasive with strong executive presence

Highly organized and results‑driven
