About the Team The Design Systems team builds the foundation for consistent, accessible, and high-quality user experiences across all platforms. As a senior engineer on the team, you'll shape the system’s architecture, establish standards, and drive adoption across the company.

We work closely with Product Design, Brand, and Engineering to deliver a robust, reusable component library. Our stack includes React, TypeScript, Storybook, and Figma, with contributions that support both web and mobile platforms. This role is focused on the web, but you'll collaborate with teams working on mobile (React Native) to ensure design consistency across surfaces. You'll influence everything from design tokens and theming to documentation, CI/CD, and usage guidelines.

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain impactful improvements across all StubHub’s platforms and products, resulting in high‑quality outcomes

Collaborate with team members to ensure best practices across our codebase

Manage individual initiative priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your technical expertise

Mentor other team members and help many increase their technical capabilities, fostering a culture of inclusion, results‑oriented execution, open innovation, and limitless creativity

What You’ve Done

5–6+ years of frontend engineering experience, with 2+ years focused on design systems or reusable component libraries

Strong skills in React, TypeScript, and Storybook, with experience building accessible, production‑ready UI components

Collaborated with designers to translate Figma libraries into scalable components

Contributed to design tokens, theming, and component packaging, with familiarity in CI/CD workflows

Maintained Storybook documentation using MDX and usage guidelines

Implemented unit, integration, and e2e tests, and conducted accessibility and performance checks (e.g., axe, Lighthouse)

Mentored engineers and helped define frontend standards, patterns, and code review practices

Web‑focused, but able to collaborate with mobile teams (e.g., React Native) to align design system usage
