The firm has studios in Irvine, Los Angeles, Oakland and Honolulu and is recognized for master planning and design across multi-family, hospitality and mixed-use projects. Location: Los Angeles, CA, US (remote possible). Salary: $95,000 - $130,000 annually. Employment type: Full-time. Responsibilities
The candidate will lead a project team through Schematic Design (SD), Design Development (DD) and Construction Documents (CD) phases and through the construction process for the Los Angeles office. Act as the main point of contact with the contractor and owner with a strong focus on contract administration. Collaborate with the Studio Director to direct a project through production of contract documents and into construction. Work with designers, other project teams and the internal Quality Control team to efficiently deliver the design intent. Responsibilities include oversight of contract documents, redlining drawings and specifications, monitoring budgets and billings, preparing additional service requests, coordinating and managing consultants, and training and mentoring the team. Review drawings during DD and CD to minimize RFIs and change orders during construction. Qualifications
10 years of architectural experience including extensive CA work on multi-family housing Demonstrated skills in field Construction Administration (CA) of multiple housing projects Strong understanding of building systems Basic knowledge of Revit Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills Good multi-tasking and time management Able to develop and maintain rapport with owners, contractors, and/or subcontractors Skilled in Revit, Photoshop and Microsoft Office Suite Education
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Construction Management preferred California licensed Architect preferred Position Location
This position will be located in our Los Angeles office. We offer a hybrid schedule of working three to four days in the office and Fridays from home. About TCA Los Angeles
