Coach – Assistant Girls Wrestling Coach Position at Moses Lake High School, Moses Lake School District.

Overview The district seeks a qualified Assistant Girls Wrestling Coach to assist in leading a quality wrestling program. The position is FTE dependent on turnout and will be in the Winter Season beginning November 17, 2025.

Contract Term Season: Winter Season, Practice begins Nov. 17, 2025. Coaches will receive payment no later than June 30, 2026.

Responsibilities Assist in leading the wrestling program, conduct practices, support athletes in skill development, maintain a safe and positive training environment, and comply with district policies.

Required Qualifications

Valid First Aid Certification Card and CPR Certification Card, or possession by the start of practice.

Meet and maintain WIAA Coaching Standards requirements.

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Any combination of training and experience that qualifies the applicant for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to effectively carry out duties of the program as established by the high school Principal, Athletic Director and district policies.

Demonstrated technical skill in wrestling and successful experience teaching these skills to secondary school student-athletes.

Effective communication with students, parents, community, and staff.

Bilingual preferred.

Organizational skills for program management.

Excellent attendance.

Additional Requirements

Complete WIAA season‑specific coaching standard courses.
