Epicor Kinetic Developer involves designing and implementing customized ERP solutions, developing Kinetic UI using Application Studio, building and optimizing workflows with BPMs and Functions, creating and managing system integrations via REST APIs, and performing customizations and reports using C# and SQL. The role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and experience with Epicor's toolset. The Senior Developer contributes to goals and success through excellent communication for client interaction and cross-functional collaboration.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Customization & Development:

Design, develop, test, and implement custom solutions within the Epicor Kinetic system using tools such as Application Studio, Business Process Management (BPM), and Business Activity Queries (BAQs).

System Integration:

Build and manage integrations between Epicor Kinetic and other internal or third-party systems using REST services, APIs, and Service Connect to improve data flow and efficiency.

Reporting & Dashboards:

Create and maintain custom dashboards, reports (SSRS, Power BI), and queries to provide strategic insights for various departments.

Technical Leadership:

Serve as a technical lead, collaborating with stakeholders, business analysts, and support teams to define technical specifications and resolve complex production issues.

Application Support:

Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and debugging for production issues, including root cause analysis and remediation.

Configuration:

Develop and support Epicor Product Configurators to automate quoting, engineering, and production workflows.

System Maintenance:

Manage and support regular system maintenance, upgrades, and patches to ensure optimal performance.

Documentation & Training:

Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for customizations and integrations, and assist in internal training.

Consulting:

Work with clients or internal users to gather and document functional requirements and deliver tailored ERP solutions.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES

Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, SQL Server, SSRS, BAQs, BPMs, and Epicor customization tools.

Expertise in Epicor's development tools, including Application Studio (for Kinetic UI), Business Process Management (BPM), Business Activity Queries (BAQ), Epicor Functions and Business Objects, Epicor Configurator.

Experience with relational databases, performance tuning, and basic database administration.

Knowledge of Epicor Service Connect or other integration frameworks.

Familiarity with Epicor upgrade projects, cloud migrations, and performance tuning.

Experience with other Epicor modules (e.g., DocStar, ECC).

Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

A bachelor's degree is preferred.

A range of 5+ years of equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degree or a combination of education and experience.

Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) proficiency required.

5+ years of development experience with Epicor ERP (Kinetic/10/9) is required.

Solid understanding of ERP processes in manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and operations is a plus.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Occasional (around 10%) travel is required for this position.
