Northrop Grumman is looking for Cybersecurity Analysts in our Roy, Utah facility. This is a full‑time role located in Roy; telecommuting is not offered. Candidates must have an active TS Clearance to be considered for this role.
What You’ll Get To Do
Develop, submit, and maintain Authorization to Operate (ATO) packages for DCSA compliance, ensuring adherence to security requirements and regulations.
Work within the eMASS system to manage and track ATO packages, coordinating with various stakeholders throughout the approval process.
Collaborate with various teams to understand and gather system artifacts for security compliance verification.
Establish strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and support obtaining certification and accreditation of systems; this includes support of process, analysis, coordination, security certification test, security documentation, as well as investigations, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging technology research inspections, and periodic audits.
Assist in the implementation of the required government policy (i.e., JSIG, DAAPM) and make recommendations on process tailoring, and participate in and document process activities.
Perform analyses to validate established security requirements and to recommend additional security requirements and safeguards.
Support the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by each government authority through pre‑test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results, and preparation of required reports.
Document the results of Assessment and Authorization activities and technical or coordination activity and prepare the system Security Plans and update the Plan of Actions and Milestones POA&M.
Periodically conduct a complete review of each system's audits and monitor corrective actions until all actions are closed.

Basic Qualifications
3 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, 2 years with a Master’s degree, or 1 year with a PhD; an additional 4 years of direct cybersecurity experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Current DoD Top Secret level security clearance with an original adjudication or a periodic reinvestigation completed within the last 6 years; maintaining the required security clearance will be a condition of continued employment.
Current IAT level II (Sec+)
Experience developing, submitting, and maintaining ATO packages as well as updating artifacts within eMASS.
Experience performing vulnerability scans using Tenable & Splunk; can independently troubleshoot failed or non‑credentialed scans.
Demonstrated expert knowledge of cybersecurity practices, network technologies, and system development life‑cycles, in addition to an understanding of information technology infrastructure management/monitoring and applications.
Possesses strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
Can work with minimal supervision, both independently and within a team.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of ATO packages and the eMASS system.
Working knowledge and experience with NIST RMF.
Working knowledge and understanding of auditing, vulnerability scanning/remediation, SIEMs, DISA STIGs, configuration/change control, and implementation of Risk Management Framework.
Experience managing a POA&M and identifying a handling plan for specific vulnerabilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to produce coherent and concise documentation required for certification evaluation.
