as a TurboTax Live Seasonal Local Service Expert. This is a seasonal, on‑site role at a TurboTax location in the United States.
Overview Intuit seeks highly motivated individuals to provide tax expertise, advise customers, and grow the TurboTax client base through community engagement.
About The Role You will serve customers in‑person and virtually, prepare federal and state tax returns, offer tax advice, and support Intuit’s mission of “Powering Prosperity Around the World.” The position requires a seasonal, onsite presence and is non‑exempt.
What You’ll Do
Provide Tax Expertise—deliver complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations, locating deductions, minimizing liabilities, and offering future planning advice.
Act as a Proactive Community Ambassador—build a local client base, engage prospects, convert leads, and organize local events.
Educate and Communicate Confidently—represent TurboTax publicly, host learning events, participate in marketing, and demystify taxes.
Build Relationships—build long‑term trust with clients and create loyalty.
Deliver a Best‑in‑Class Customer Experience—interact in‑person and via video, address inquiries, and help clients achieve financial goals.
Who You Are
Possess an active EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney credential with strong tax preparation experience.
Have an active PTIN.
Have a minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per season using professional software.
Familiar with Circular 230.
Willing to work a static weekly schedule of at least 24 hours at a TurboTax location.
Interested in building a local and online presence in accordance with Intuit policies.
Proficient in English; Spanish is a plus.
Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond filing.

Compensation Competitive base pay ranges by location: Bay Area, California $30.60–$36.10; Southern California $30.60–$36.10; Colorado $29.20–$34.50; Hawaii $30.60–$36.10; Illinois $29.20–$34.50; Maryland $29.20–$34.50; Massachusetts $30.60–$36.10; Minnesota $26.20–$30.90; New Jersey $30.60–$36.10; New York $30.60–$36.10; Ohio $26.20–$30.90; Vermont $29.20–$34.50; Washington $30.60–$36.10; Washington DC $29.20–$34.50.
