$75,000.00 - $95,000.00 USD Annually International leading manufacturer in the Richmond Heights area of Cleveland, OH is seeking an experienced

Accountant

to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, particularly as they apply to a manufacturing environment. You'll be responsible for a wide range of financial activities, including managing general ledger accounts, preparing financial statements, and assisting with cost analysis. Your work will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy of our financial data and supporting sound business decisions. Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring they are accurate and compliant with GAAP. General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets. Cost Accounting: Assist with cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis, inventory valuation, and variance analysis to track and control manufacturing costs. Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the development of budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring performance against these targets and providing explanations for any variances. Compliance & Audits: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Ad Hoc Projects: Take on other finance-related tasks and projects as needed to support the company's financial goals. Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Skills:

Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and cost accounting principles. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
