Job Title : Senior Accountant
Location : hybrid near Downtown LA
Salary : $85K-$95K depending upon experience
Base pay range : $85,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

Job Description Our large client in the non-profit industry is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their accounting team. This role is responsible for managing key accounting functions including month-end close, general ledger, fixed assets, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and more.
This role is with a stable and exciting company with minimal days in the office per month!
Key Responsibilities
Manage general ledger accounts, prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
Own month-end close duties and assist with financial statement preparation and variance analysis.
Oversee fixed assets, prepaids, bank reconciliations, revenue recognition, and reviewing contributions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integrity and assist with process improvement initiatives.
Handle ad hoc projects and responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within non-profit, government, or similar industry with exposure to grants
Strong understanding of GAAP, general ledger, revenue recognition, and standard accounting principles
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar ERP) and strong skills with Microsoft Excel
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Solid communication skills including written and verbal and tech savvy
