Pay Range Base pay:

$18.00/hr - $22.00/hr

This on‑site entry level position requires the ability to learn sales communication practices and a passion for engaging with diverse target audiences. As a Communications Assistant, your role is pivotal in supporting the communications team in executing various communication strategies to enhance the organization’s image and outreach efforts.

Responsibilities

Engage with community partners and stakeholders to promote communication goals.

Collaborate with team members to create client presentations and public speaking materials to drive consumer sales.

Support the planning and execution of internal and external events.

Conduct research to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Gather information for different projects and coordinate logistics for meetings and communications‑related activities.

Review and analyze feedback from communication initiatives to recommend improvements.

Participate in brainstorming sessions for new communication strategies.

Maintain project timelines and budgets when necessary.

Implement feedback from supervisors to refine communication approaches.

Required Qualifications

Can commute to office Mon‑Fri.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer‑service orientation.

Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Creative thinking and problem‑solving skills.

Basic knowledge of public speaking is desirable.

Demonstrated understanding of audience analysis and target messaging.

Willingness to learn new tools and techniques in communication.

Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.

Relevant experience in communications, marketing, or a related area, including internships is a plus but not required.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
