Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED (preferred).

Experience in retail sales (preferred).

Ability to perform essential duties, responsibilities and work in the conditions described below.

Ability to supervise and train the use of equipment, tools and materials listed in the Customer Service Representative (CSR) and Assistant Site Manager (ASM) job descriptions.

Ability to supervise and manage the functions listed in the CSR and ASM job descriptions.

Proficiency in computer use, or ability to acquire necessary computer skills for inventory and cash control, analysis of reports, etc.

Valid driver’s license and adequate transportation for bank and corporate management meetings.

Effective oral and written communication in English.

Willingness to perform other duties as assigned or delegated by supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management

Recruit, hire and train positive, enthusiastic employees, ensuring excellent customer service.

Develop, manage and assign tasks to maintain a clean, adequately stocked store that meets company standards.

Maintain a professional and supportive image among subordinates and supervisors.

Schedule employees within company guidelines to maximize customer service and maintain site image.

Implement non‑discriminatory management practices when hiring, training, counseling, motivating and separating employees.

Site Relationships

Develop positive relationships with suppliers.

Resolve customer complaints in a timely, professional manner.

Promote a safe, positive public image within the neighboring community.

Training and Development

Prepare and document timely performance appraisals for all employees.

Ensure all employees meet customer service, site image and marketing execution standards.

Train all employees on safety procedures and promote safety awareness.

Communication

Develop means to ensure all employees receive proper communication in a timely manner.

Hold periodic communication meetings with all site employees and the Market Manager.

Organizing and Planning

Develop action plans to address site needs and reach objectives.

Organize and maintain all site files and manuals.

Manage and supervise store employees to ensure accurate, timely completion of reports.

Ensure all merchandise is stocked, displayed, and priced correctly.

Maintain required employment posters and signs in accessible locations.

Financial

Analyze daily sales and expense information to maximize sales and net profits.

Budget and forecast P & L lines, and manage merchandise margins.

Safeguard and account for all money received and disbursed.

Perform other necessary financial analyses to maximize sales and net profits.

Working Conditions

Work mostly indoors; occasional outdoor work (cleaning parking lots, gas pumps, taking out garbage).

Exposure to occasional cold temperatures and noise; possible work in walk‑in coolers or freezers.

Require minimal direction and supervision.

Act as an effective manager, supervisor and leader at all times.

Hiring Range:

$20.00 to $20.25 per hour
