Calhoun Intermediate School District . We are seeking a full-time math teacher for our 9-12 grade students at Olivet High School. The ideal candidate should have a passion for teaching math to high school students and should be able to create an engaging and challenging learning environment that supports the academic and social-emotional growth of our students. Responsibilities
Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with state standards and meets the needs of all students Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning Assess student learning regularly and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes respect, kindness, and a love of learning Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs Attend and participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Education, a Michigan Teaching Certificate, Secondary Teaching Certificate and Math Endorsement of EX required. Experience teaching high school math preferred. An interest in and ability to teach computer classes preferred. Strong content knowledge in mathematics and the ability to teach a range of topics, including algebra, geometry, and statistics. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Dedication to student learning and a growth mindset approach to teaching. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners. Familiarity with technology tools and resources to enhance teaching and learning. Salary: Per Master Agreement Posting open through July 31, 2025 or until filled
