Shipping & Receiving Clerk
to support warehouse and logistics operations in a fast-paced, collaborative manufacturing environment.
About the Role
The Shipping & Receiving Clerk ensures the timely and accurate flow of materials into and out of our facility. This includes handling incoming and outgoing shipments, updating inventory systems, and contributing to a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse operation.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality. Label, log, and route materials to appropriate departments or storage areas. Prepare, pack, and document outbound shipments to meet customer and carrier requirements. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely. Maintain shipping/receiving records and update ERP/inventory systems. Work closely with production and procurement to ensure timely material flow. Support inventory counts, audits, and general warehouse organization. Communicate professionally with drivers, vendors, and internal teams. Follow all safety protocols and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. What You'll Need
Minimum 6 months experience in shipping & receiving in a manufacturing environment. Forklift experience and/or certification (or willingness to obtain). Basic understanding of inventory control and logistics documentation. Comfortable using inventory software, barcode scanners, and shipping platforms. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team. Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment. Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with ERP or inventory tracking systems. Basic computer skills and familiarity with standard office software. Working Conditions
Shop/manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, equipment, and variable temperatures. PPE required and provided. Occasional overtime may be required based on operational needs. Why Work With Us
