Job Responsibilities
Grow LTL freight revenue in the food and beverage vertical, focusing on grocers and grocery consolidation services
Develop and manage strategies to attract new customers and expand business with existing customers
Secure approved and/or preferred shipping status with grocers
Lead negotiations by identifying options, interests, and alternatives for all parties involved
Manage a customer pipeline using CRM tools while maintaining accurate records of sales activities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience
4 years of combined experience in sales, national sales, Third-Party Logistics (3PL), LTL, project management, and/or logistics
Understanding of SPIN selling or other needs-based selling models
Experience in contract negotiation
Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
Availability to travel up to 75% of the time
6 years of combined experience in sales, national sales, 3PL, LTL, project management, and/or logistics
Previous experience selling to the food and beverage industry
Ability to understand competitor strategies, products, and pricing patterns
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
