Senior Payroll Manager . This is an opportunity to shape the future of payroll operations within a large, multi-entity environment. The Senior Payroll Manager will lead payroll strategy, compliance, and innovation—driving efficiency and accuracy through
Workday Payroll
and emerging automation technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead payroll strategy, operations, and compliance across North America, ensuring accuracy and regulatory adherence.
Optimize
Workday Payroll
by implementing automation technologies (AI/RPA) to streamline processes and reduce manual work.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Accounting to align payroll operations with broader business goals.
Develop and lead a high-performing payroll team, driving accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
Oversee internal controls, audits, and documentation to ensure SOX compliance and data integrity.
Drive payroll transformation initiatives, including system upgrades, acquisitions, and process improvements.
Must-Have Qualifications:
8+ years of progressive payroll experience in large, complex, multi-entity environments.
5+ years of experience managing and leading payroll teams.
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification.
Proven leadership experience overseeing payroll operations across multiple regions (U.S. and Canada preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
Workday Payroll expertise
strongly preferred; ADP, SAP, or Oracle experience considered if adaptable to Workday.
Experience managing payroll through system implementations, upgrades, or acquisitions.
Advanced degree or equivalent senior-level leadership experience.
Demonstrated success developing payroll professionals into leadership roles.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a process improvement mindset.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and payroll-related software.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
