About the Role We’re looking for a motivated
Audit Staff Accountant
to join our Columbia‑based Assurance team. In this role, you’ll provide audit and attestation services to a variety of clients, build valuable relationships, and contribute to the delivery of high‑quality financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA or CPA candidate seeking hands‑on experience, professional mentorship, and a clear growth path within a well‑respected public accounting firm.
Key Responsibilities
Perform audit and attestation services across a range of industries
Work closely with team members to meet project goals and deadlines
Contribute to a collaborative team environment that prioritizes client service
Build lasting client relationships and identify additional service needs
Provide timely, accurate, and high‑quality deliverables
Participate in networking, civic, and professional development activities
Continuously build technical knowledge and develop business acumen
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
CPA license or active CPA candidate (required)
1–2 years of recent public accounting experience, with a focus on audit
Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Limited overnight travel required
