Responsibilities
Performing physical pre‑testing activities for newly developed products to ensure product quality and validating manufacturing processes.
Executing the assigned work according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines and reporting any non‑compliance.
Assisting the team in performing all required checks as part of the Factory Acceptance Testing process.
Inspecting and troubleshooting any identified issues, determining root causes, and implementing corrective actions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Maintaining accurate testing records, data, and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality management systems.
Participating in quality improvement initiatives, providing feedback and suggestions to enhance manufacturing processes and product quality.
Qualifications
1+ years of working in an electrical or wiring experience or applicable electrical coursework.
Reading and understanding electrical drawings.
Data analysis and reporting.
Experience with customer relationships.
Experience performing planned maintenance of electrical equipment.
Basic computer knowledge and skills.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, other hand tools, and electrical current & voltage measurement tools as needed.
Knowledge of voltage, current, resistance, AC/DC electrical circuits.
Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed.
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40 lbs.
Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
