Remediation Scientist or Geologist , supporting our
Little Rock, Arkansas, Kansas City, Kansas, or St. Louis, Missouri
Remediation practice. This position will have the opportunity to apply academic knowledge and practical experience to real-word situations related to contaminated site assessment & remediation, groundwater management, water treatment, and environmental due diligence for a diverse national private and public sector client base, while also learning and expanding the business skills needed for a successful consulting career.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Fieldwork such as soil and groundwater sampling, drilling and contractor oversight, construction quality assurance and oversight, and remediation system O&M
Chemical data and contaminant fate & transport evaluation
Groundwater and soil remedy evaluation, cost estimation, design calculations, and implementation
Environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance services, and permitting
Aquifer testing and hydrogeologic data analyses
Brownfield redevelopment planning experience
Groundwater remediation program management
Data analysis, including preparing maps, tables, and figures; and
Preparation of technical reports, letters, memoranda, work plans, cost estimates, and proposals
Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed
Education and Licensure
Bachelor's degree in geology or related field. (required)
Advanced degree in the same. (preferred)
Professional registration, or ability to obtain when eligible. (i.e., P.G. or P.E.)
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
At least 5 years of related experience (7+ preferred), including observation of drilling and well installation, soil sampling, groundwater sampling, and other field techniques, or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to environmental investigation and remediation activities. (preferred)
Prior professional experience in environmental consulting. (preferred)
Technical experience in geology, geotechnical, environmental, or related disciplines. (preferred)
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and related software; AutoCAD and/or GIS. (preferred)
Excellent writing and communication skills. (required)
Regular field work and overnight travel. (required)
Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing may be required
Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
Candidates must currently hold and maintain valid U.S. work authorization. New H-1B visa lottery and employment based green card sponsorship are not available for this position.
