Video Banker – Cookeville Branch
Hours are Monday - Thursday, 8:00am-5:00pm and Friday 8:00am-6:00pm. Compensation: $22/hour.
Day-to-Day Job Duties The Video Banker position will engage with TENCU members and handle all member interactions in a blended work environment, including telephone, interactive video, web chat, and secure mail.
Duties/Responsibilities
Provide exceptional member service through quality conversations with members in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
Perform work in a video banking environment, with the aid of various computer programs.
Provide front-line member support through multiple service requests or inquiries submitted through email, secure mail, or other digital credit union channels.
Perform all required tasks to establish new accounts, including maintenance of all deposit products and ancillary services.
Process member support requests and inquiries including, but not limited to: Reg E Inquiries, Stop Payments, ACH inquiries, Account Information. Close accounts, Password Resets etc.
Interview members and process consumer loan applications, including but not limited to gathering all applicable documentation within limits of loan authority, making decisions on consumer loans (close, fund, or disperse consumer loans). Meet with members with declined loans.
Must have the ability to effectively cross-sell credit union products and services.

Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of credit union products and services.
Accuracy in cash handling and transactions.
Ability to learn and follow federal regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
One year experience in a credit union, bank, or financial institution required.
Experience with consumer loans and new accounts preferred.
Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm and must maintain at least 95% accuracy while typing required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with email communication tools (e.g., Outlook) required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
Ability to use a computer for long periods of time.
Ability to work in a non-smoking environment.
To be hired for this position the candidate must pass a drug screen and background check.
