Job Summary
Supermicro is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the team for conducting functional tests for incoming Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) products, implementing Engineering Change Orders, model conversion, and more. The candidate will be responsible for daily quality‑control operations, isolating and analyzing defective PCBA products, preparing reports, and working with the QA team to drive quality improvement in a fast‑paced production environment to meet dynamic sales demand.
- Conduct visual inspection and functional tests for PCBA products; implement engineering change orders and model conversion.
- Collaborate with QA to follow up manufacturing contractors for quality improvement.
- Work with R&D and QA to diagnose and analyze root causes of defective PCBA products for quality improvement.
- Practice lean manufacturing and Six Sigma for process optimization; develop scripts or batch files to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Follow ISO guidelines to promote safety, quality, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability.
- Support management to achieve company business targets and complete assigned tasks.
Qualifications
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of production or industrial work experience desirable.
- Basic familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Strong analytical mindset and problem‑solving abilities.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and provide support beyond regular hours when needed.
Salary Range
$73,500 – $100,000
