Job Description

Employment Benefits:

  • $22.50 per hour to start
  • 10‑hour shifts are typical (overtime eligible)
  • 4 or 5‑day workweek with flexible scheduling
  • Future potential to work a 2nd shift if desired
  • A minimum of 2 paid 15‑minute breaks and 1 unpaid 30‑minute meal during the shift

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Successfully handle and deliver packages on time.
  • Safely drive and perform safety inspections on the company vehicle.
  • Follow all local and state laws, road‑driving regulations, and company policies.
  • Deliver packages to customers located in residential neighborhoods and schools.
  • Engage cooperatively with coworkers, management, and vendors/third parties.
  • Interact professionally with customers and the general public while delivering to residential, retail, and business locations.
  • Carry out instructions and handle company property without constant supervision.
  • Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events/conditions.
  • Maintain pace in a physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently; maneuver packages weighing up to 70 lbs., using material‑handling equipment, or up to 300 lbs. as part of a delivery team; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations.
  • Communicate effectively with support teams to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed.
  • Use a smartphone for GPS navigation, package scanning, clocking in/out, and communicating with supervisors and team members.
  • Load and unload packages in the delivery vehicle.
  • Support the team in daily work requirements, including participation in rescue calls when other members need assistance with their routes.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must hold a non‑provisional, unrestricted driver’s license.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must pass a 4‑panel drug screening (excluding pre‑employment testing for marijuana).
  • Must have good English speaking, reading, writing, and communication skills.

Equipment Provided:

  • Delivery vehicle and gas.
  • Handheld technology.
  • Uniforms.
  • Other safety and administrative gear necessary for job accomplishment.

Hiring process takes approximately 1–2 weeks to complete. It may take longer if you have an out‑of‑state driver’s license.
