Compensation for this role is $24.00 - $28.00 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post‑treatment care.
• Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake.
• Assist dentists during emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supplies, and emergency telephone directory.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience.
• Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Outgoing, neat, and compassionate.

Dental Assistants are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
