The Forensic Consulting Group performs a diverse collection of tasks ranging from accounting procedures for litigation engagements to the performance of business appraisal and valuation services. We are seeking an organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to provide high-level support to our client engagement leaders.
Essential Functions And Primary Duties
- Support Managing Directors, Senior Directors, and Directors with daily administrative tasks and special projects
- Initiate Conflict Checks for prospective clients
- Prepare engagement letters for new and existing clients
- Set up new clients in internal systems, ensuring complete and accurate onboarding documentation
- Manage and organize documents, including filing, scanning, and archiving
- Maintain calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments, including preparation and maintenance of conference rooms
- Prepare and send out invoices, process billing, and follow up on collections
- Generate and maintain various reports as required
- Assist in processing expense reports
- Enter and monitor time records for the team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Monitor stock and order supplies as needed
- Previous administrative or office support experience preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years experience in office environment and preferably performing as an administrative assistant
- Must have knowledge of administrative procedures
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
