Overview

At Sierra Pacific Windows in Medford, Wisconsin, our Windows division has multiple entry-level crewmember openings with opportunities for advancement. We are a fourth-generation family-owned company and one of the largest lumber and millwork producers in the United States. We employ more than 6,000 people across state-of-the-art facilities and operations including manufacturing, custom wood-framed windows, fabrication, millwork, veneer, cogeneration, trucking, forestry, and more.

We offer competitive benefits and opportunities for growth, including an up to $1,500 hiring bonus. Entry-Level Crewmembers earn $20.38 to $22.38 per hour. Location: Medford, WI with facilities in Alabama, California, and Wisconsin. Positions available on 1st, 2nd, or weekend shift, with overtime as needed.

About the position: Find yourself in an entry-level manufacturing role with opportunities to learn across the plant, including production, equipment maintenance, and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Find yourself in an entry-level manufacturing position with opportunity to learn and explore many jobs within the plant site including production, equipment maintenance, and supervision
• Stack, move, and assemble windows and window parts
• Apply hardware and weather strip to wood frames and doors using a hand drill
• Operate saws to cut and trim wood parts to size
• Perform tasks using miter saw, high speed routers, shapers, auto nail gun, drill, screw gun, caulking gun, utility knives, and hand tools
• Work with and around saws, glass, and machinery
• The work is fast-paced and can, at times, be demanding
• Repetitive lifting and working in both hot and cold work environments
• Positions available on 1st, 2nd, or weekend shift, with overtime as needed

Qualifications

• We look for applicants with recent, related work history and verifiable references
• All applicants must be at least age 18
