Job Description

Client Relationship Consultants build relationships with customers, engaging them via multiple channels—including in‑person, by appointment, and virtually—to provide the best possible counsel while adapting a digital‑first mindset. Strong client relationships are based on trust, assessing and attending to customers’ banking needs, obtaining and processing customer and account information, demonstrating and educating clients on available deposit and loan products and services, and recommending solutions based on each customer’s unique goals and needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building and fostering relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow‑up.
  • Identifying solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs by effectively engaging and communicating with clients.
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services, including digital products.
  • Providing a consistent optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
  • Developing collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners to best serve clients.
  • Opening new consumer and business accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications.
  • Proactively educating clients on emerging and self‑service digital products and services to assist with meeting their financial needs.
  • Leveraging available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience and serve our clients with operational excellence and accuracy.

**Required Licensing** – This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. Candidates must complete the required registration process, which includes a criminal background and credit check.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Typically have a minimum of four to five years of job‑related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow‑up.
  • Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services.
  • Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience participating in sales campaigns/promotions.
  • Experience using and demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies.
  • Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital‑first mindset.
  • Demonstrated advanced level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively.
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred.

Pay Range: $20.00 – $24.38 (actual range may differ based on location).
