Overview

Razorfish is looking for an Analyst to join its Data Science and Analytics practice. This analytics, research and consulting team delivers data‑driven insights to our clients. Each member works closely with clients and colleagues across Marketing, Strategy, Search, Social, Media, UX and Technology to contribute to data‑driven projects across one or more accounts.

Responsibilities

• Learn all facets of the data from origin to interpretation and use.
• Understand Razorfish’s data capabilities and how data fits into a client’s overall strategy.
• Help manage data team responsibilities within cross‑capability projects.

Data Strategy

• Identify key issues and objectives based on internal and client needs with oversight.

Communication Skills

• Active listener who positively contributes to discussions.
• Prepare internal and client presentations with oversight.
• Write clear and concise summaries of own work.

Client Engagement

• Participate actively in meetings with internal and external clients.
• Prioritize work to meet internal and external client deliverables.
• Identify when a request should be completed by the data team.
• Identify points of contact within internal and external clients.

Tools & Techniques

• Understand internal and client‑specific data tools and platforms for reporting and analysis.
• Assist in vendor and platform assessments.
• Proactively identify own learning gaps and seek help from internal resources or experts.
• Translate data into visuals (charts and graphs) for client presentations.
• Ensure data integrity at collection, extraction, and activation.

Analytics

• Contribute to measurement plans and basic implementation structures.
• Extract, cleanse, and analyze data; identify trends and anomalies.
• Generate actionable insights and provide hypotheses to advance KPIs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a business environment, preferably in digital media or a client‑focused consulting/marketing service role.
• Working knowledge of statistical concepts or coding languages, or deep knowledge of statistics without prior marketing application.
• Familiarity with basic Excel functions, Pivot Tables and lookup formulas.
• Ability to write SQL queries and use regular expressions.
• Familiarity with BI/Visualization tools.

Compensation

Compensation Range: $51,000 - $62,300. The company reserves the right to modify this range. Eligible employees may participate in medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), and paid time off. The application deadline for this posting will be 10/1/25.
