We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead our Cold Crew and help us maintain the highest standards of safety, sanitation, cost control, productivity and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership by efficiently coordinating and executing workflow throughout the warehouse, prioritizing safety, sanitation, cost control, productivity, accuracy, teamwork and customer satisfaction in alignment with facility goals.
• Serve as a visible leader within the Cold Crew, fostering positive relationships with staff and upholding company culture.
• Advise and participate in employment‑related decisions (hiring, promotion, terminations).
• Prioritize, supervise, and direct warehouse tasks, customer requests and allocate labor to fulfill those tasks.
• Determine if overtime is necessary; seek management approval as needed.
• Supervise incidents, injuries and near‑misses by conducting investigations and logging reports in the safety tracking system.
• Participate in the corrective action process; address interpersonal issues for team members.
• Supervise and continuously improve labor efficiency through coaching, feedback and training initiatives.
• Approve timecards, assist with scheduling and manage time‑off requests.
• Conduct performance reviews of team members, providing clear constructive feedback.
• Ensure adherence to good warehousing practices, food‑safety standards, customer SOPs and inventory accuracy.
• Act as a liaison between warehouse staff and other departments for smooth workflow.
• Coordinate with shipping & receiving departments to manage truck docks, trailer movements and pallet flow.
• Perform tasks within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) – assign doors, direct tasks, manage inventory and address exceptions.
• Manage and troubleshoot warehouse issues in collaboration with co‑workers.
• Act as escalation point for various matters, resolving issues as needed.
• Occasionally perform Warehouse Associate and Lead duties as required by business demands.

Job Specifics

• Location, Department and Work Hours: Second Shift – Typical schedule 1:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday‑Friday; Warehouse hours and days may vary. Weekend availability is required when customer needs dictate.

What We Are Looking For

• Education: High school diploma, GED or equivalent; 2 + years of college or 2–3 years of Team Lead/Supervisor experience required.
• Experience: Warehouse supervision and operations, preferably in a food or temperature‑controlled environment.
• Technical skills: Radio‑frequency and other warehouse computer applications, including MS Office Suite.
• Detail‑oriented, customer‑service oriented.
• Planning, organizing, professional written and oral communication, problem solving, decision making, excellent mathematical skills.
• Ability to consistently lead and influence others to take positive action.

Handle multiple high‑priority tasks in a fast‑paced team environment; work independently with minimal supervision.

Other Abilities You Will Need to Have

• Bend and lift up to 50 lb. regularly.
• Lift up to 70 lb. occasionally with assistance.
• Work in a temperature range from +50 °F to –30 °F with moderate noise levels.
• Lift overhead when required.
• May require physical effort related to computer use, standing, walking, lifting for everyday activities.
