Responsibilities

Safety

• Know and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in weekly safety meetings.
• Operate heavy equipment in a safe manner.
• Maintain and inspect safety equipment (fire extinguishers, first aid kits, etc.).

Quality

• Work with crew and superintendent to ensure high‑quality job completion.

Efficiency

• Maintain an efficient pace to meet job timelines while ensuring safety.
• Communicate with others to keep projects moving smoothly.
• Notify supervisor of equipment needs (fuel, maintenance, etc.).
• Make recommendations to speed up work.

Basic Job Requirements

• Be on time, ready to work.
• At least 2 years of experience with heavy equipment (skid‑steers, wheel loaders, excavators, etc.).
• Positive attitude.
• Work in a drug and alcohol free environment.
