Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Duties

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to minimize risk of injury and property damage
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
• Clean heavy equipment as scheduled
• Ensure heavy equipment is stored safely and securely
• Advise the foreman of required maintenance or repairs
• Participate in routine maintenance
• Practice workplace safety

Job Requirements

• Able to pass a drug test
• Must be able to move materials and equipment weighing up to 50+ pounds
• Repeated use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation required
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, ladder and stair climbing and occasional crawling and twisting necessary to perform basic functions
• Must be able to follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
