Senior Product Manager, Hardware at Formlabs. Join Formlabs to bring ground-breaking professional 3D printers to the desktop of every designer, engineer, researcher, and artist. Hardware Product Managers define new products, work with Engineering to develop them, and announce new products to the market. They are the subject matter experts on customers, applications, and business, focused on shipping impactful products and building cross-team collaboration.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to define and drive new hardware products to completion, ensuring customer satisfaction and business success. This role involves defining requirements for new products in the Formlabs portfolio, determining key features and user experience, and overseeing the product through development to shipping.

Responsibilities

  • Identify immediate and/or upcoming user needs, and develop product requirements and a product roadmap that addresses them.
  • Prioritize features and tasks for the product using internal tools, and regularly review product direction and current work.
  • Write clear, crisp, detailed product specifications.
  • Manage collaboration and communication with other teams, both internal and external, to ensure teams have what they need and can work efficiently.
  • Help guide go-to-market and maintenance plans through product launch and beyond.
  • Monitor feedback, support, and analytics; plan changes to make improvements.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customers, business, competitors, and technology.
  • Work with product and engineering leadership to create a coherent product strategy and vision, connecting it to the wider business strategy.
  • Identify new opportunities adjacent to current work and propose products to capture them.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, developing and launching products that delight customers and support business goals.

You

  • Hardware engineering or physics background
  • Experience shipping software-enabled hardware products to customers (or explanation of why this may not matter)
  • Data-driven decision making
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Process-oriented mindset

Location: Boston, MA

Compensation: $161,000.00-$172,500.00
