Job Title

HVAC Journeyman Mechanic – (FBI HQ) – Part Time Weekend Shift (2 pm–10 pm)

Job Summary

EMCOR Government Services has an immediate need for an HVAC Journeyman Mechanic in Washington, DC. Night shift hours (2:00 pm – 10:00 pm) are required on weekends. Applicants must have or be able to obtain a Top Secret TS Clearance. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate BAS system Direct Digital Controllers (DDC)
• Install, repair and maintain a wide variety of HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults associated with HVAC systems.
• Clean, service, adjust and repair systems efficiently and promptly.
• Respond and perform emergency repairs on mission‑critical mechanical equipment.
• Provide technical support and direction to subordinates.
• Maintain daily logs and records of pertinent events during shift.
• Follow all company and OSHA best safety practices.
• Comply with all work instruction and industry standards.
• Display excellent organizational and diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• Journeyman HVAC license required.
• 7–10 years of experience required.
• Must be able to work night shift hours (2 pm – 10 pm) on weekends.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Top Secret TS Clearance.

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $46.29/hr
