Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

The Accounting Manager will oversee financial reporting, compliance, and general ledger activities within the Financial Services industry. This role requires a results-driven professional with strong technical accounting knowledge and leadership skills.

Description

• Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring timely reporting.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits to provide necessary documentation and explanations.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate financial data.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals.

Profile

A successful Accounting Manager should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CPA or equivalent are preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and other relevant financial regulations.
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
