A company is looking for an Accounting Assistant for a temporary remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Code and post accounts payable transactions accurately to the general ledger.
• Complete monthly and year-end accounting procedures, including journal entries and financial reporting.
• Support external audit and tax return preparation.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 4+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Accounts payable / general ledger expertise.
• Journal entries and reconciliation experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance.
