Position Overview Accounting Supervisor Opportunity - Are you an experienced accounting professional with 3+ years of leadership experience? A national distribution company in Chesterfield, Missouri, is hiring an Accounting Supervisor for a direct-hire opportunity. Essential Functions: Supervise the month-end general ledger closing process and ensure the accuracy of balance sheet and income statement accounts in accordance with GAAP. Manage the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger month-end close process. Lead and support a team of 6 Accounting Specialists and Staff Accountants. Partner and work closely with the CFO on financial operations and reporting initiatives. Ensure timely and accurate processing of all vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and customer billings. Requirements: BS or BA in Accounting or related field. MBA or CPA preferred. 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience. 3+ years of people management experience.
