Accounting Professionals Group I is hiring: Accounting Bookkeeper in Orlando

Overview We currently have an opening for a bookkeeper/staff accountant within our Accounting Firm seeking to be filled immediately. This position requires a strong accounting background. The bookkeeper/staff accountant will work under the supervision of our Enrolled Agent and will collaborate with other staff accountants to handle day-to-day accounting entries ranging from posting journal entries, detailed bookkeeping, reconciliation of bank accounts, general journal adjustments, preparation of financial statements, financial analysis of the statements, and supporting personal and corporate taxes if applicable. We are a fully operating Accounting Firm seeking honest, ethical individuals who are looking for stability and growth. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus. We are seeking someone with experience and/or tax season experience. Responsibilities Post journal entries and perform detailed bookkeeping Reconcile bank accounts and prepare general journal adjustments Prepare financial statements and conduct financial analysis Assist with personal and corporate tax work as applicable Collaborate with the Enrolled Agent and other staff accountants Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Master's in Tax or Accounting a plus) Experience in a prior accounting or CPA firm 2 years of professional accounting experience Extensive knowledge of QuickBooks software Strong tax research skills Spanish bilingualism is a plus Company Description Accounting Firm #J-18808-Ljbffr
