Base pay range $40.00/hr - $50.00/hr Accounting Analyst Midtown Manhattan, NYC (Hybrid, Work from Home and in Office) Contract / Consulting Role Our client, a mid-sized Private Equity and Management Consulting firm, is looking to add a Junior Accountant to their growing finance and accounting team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their accounting career to gain exposure to a broad range of responsibilities in a fast-paced, professional environment. Core Responsibilities: Support the accounting team with journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close Assist in maintaining the general ledger and managing AP / AR functions Perform financial data analysis using Excel – strong skills with Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas are a must Help ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls Collaborate with senior accountants and other departments as needed What we’re looking for: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 1+ years of accounting experience (internships included) Familiarity with GAAP and accounting best practices Strong working knowledge of Excel A self-starter who’s detail-oriented, eager to learn, and can be a team contributor This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants hands-on experience at a firm that values growth, collaboration, and professional development.
