Opportunity Overview:
LSA is seeking American Sign Language Interpreters for a client in the Tallahassee, FL area. Interpreters in the LSA network are independently contracted and can negotiate competitive fees based on experience, credentials, and market factors.
Participating interpreters can accept or decline assignments to fit their schedules. They gain opportunities to accept challenging assignments and build industry experience. Interpreters are expected to commit to accepted assignments and arrive onsite by the scheduled time.
All interpreters have access to our web-based invoicing platform and 24-hour coordinator support for assignments, invoicing, and queries.
Location:
Applicants must be in, near, or able to travel to the Tallahassee, FL area.
About the role:
Interpreters must meet the following requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor degree
- RID certification
- State’s QA equivalent level certification
- Proof of license or registration
- Fluency in English and American Sign Language
- Knowledge of and adherence to interpreting ethics
- Experience and comfort working in medical and/or mental health settings
