Job Description - Overview
Hobby Lobby Stores is a privately held corporation that is looking for a bright, talented, and motivated individual to work as a Full-Time Parts Coordinator in our truck maintenance department. The job duties and responsibilities of this position may vary according to the needs of the department.
Work Schedule: $20.15/hr. Tuesday thru Saturday, 7:30am to 4:00pm.
Responsibilities
- Daily ordering diesel engine parts
- Interacting with parts vendors and outside salesmen
- Restocking, organizing & straightening parts room shelves
- Assist with parts inventory semi-annually
- Receive invoices into system
- Data entry of parts into computer inventory
- Labeling parts and shelves as needed
- Updating & maintaining spreadsheets and paper files
- Must be willing to train, understand, and implement our philosophy in decision making
- Flexibility in working different hours will be necessary if the need arises
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree
- Previous parts experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of diesel engine parts
- Proficient in Outlook, Word & Excel
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Must be detail oriented and organized
- Maintain confidentiality
- Have the ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Ability to read & comprehend instructions, regulations and memos
- Strong problem-solving skills & basic math skills
