Assistant Front Office Manager – Omni Hotel & Resorts Join our Omni Parker House Hotel , a historic Boston landmark on the Freedom Trail. Job Description The Assistant Front Office Manager maintains the highest levels of customer service at four-diamond standards during the arrival and departure process. Responsibilities include training, guest service recovery, and adherence to department SOPs, the Omni handbook, and best practices. Responsibilities Respond to all guest requests and remain alert, courteous, and helpful. Greet guests immediately with undivided attention. Lead front office operations, communicating tasks to front desk agents. Communicate needs or concerns (equipment, scheduling) to management. Coordinate daily communications with previous and incoming shifts. Help hire and train new associates. Assist the Front Office Manager with scheduling, payroll, labor, and expenses. Work with Guest Services to handle guests, group luggage, and packages at arrival and departure. Attend weekly resume meetings and communicate group information. Follow loss prevention procedures regarding guest property. Keep bell stand, bell closet, and back of front office areas clean, organized, and well stocked. Track guest issues and offer compensation when necessary. Complete time edit sheets, clock in/out, and PTO requests on time. Stand for long periods of time. Qualifications At least one year of previous luxury hotel experience in Guest Services or Front Office. Prior front office leadership experience; ability to elevate service levels. Work flexible schedule; willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Customer service orientation; multi-task, detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills. Knowledge of PMS and related computer programs. General computer proficiency; Microsoft Word & Excel. Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Omni Hotels & Resorts.
