Delivery Driver – Empire Distributors, Inc.

Salary: $50,000.00/yr (no CDL required – home daily). Potential bonus available.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Safely drive truck to deliver wine, beer, and non-alcoholic products to customers' places of business.
  • Collect payment from customers and record transactions on invoices/receipts.
  • Review customer orders to ensure proper delivery of product.
  • Record sales or delivery information on delivery record.
  • Obtain appropriate customer signatures on invoices/receipts for pickup or delivery.
  • Listen to and resolve service complaints.
  • Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers.
  • Collect or pick up empty containers, kegs, or rejected or unsold merchandise; return empty containers, kegs and/or product to the warehouse for distribution.
  • Inspect loads and ensure proper packing and security to reduce product breakage and vehicle damage; load truck when necessary.
  • Load/unload and deliver all products that may be ordered by customers.
  • Use telematics devices for delivery routes and driver logs.
  • Use electronic devices to accurately record start and stop times on time‑clock device, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Complete training assignments in a timely manner, including Worklete and Pro‑Tread.
  • Clean inside cab and box of truck; perform daily vehicle inspection reports noting damages or defects.
  • Arrange repairs or maintenance as needed in coordination with management.
  • Use all company equipment as required.
  • Perform job essential duties while being monitored via DriveCam.
  • Move inventory in warehouse and participate in inventory activities.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • ABC Permit (or ability to obtain)
