Job Description: UF Health Regional Physicians is seeking to hire a full-time Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist physician to join UF Health St. Johns in St. Augustine. This is an outstanding opportunity to be a part of a patient-centered, collegial group committed to delivering high-quality clinical care. Candidates should possess strong demonstrated expertise in general surgical pathology and cytopathology, intraoperative consultations, and the ability to lead the laboratory as medical director. Strong communication and relationship building skills are required. Two to five years' experience signing cases independently is highly desirable. The selected candidate(s) will enjoy a market-based, competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
This position is part of a small and growing practice that covers all anatomic pathology services for the UF Health St. Johns system laboratories. The UF Health Flagler Hospital is a 335-bed tertiary care center. UF Health Durbin Park is a 98-bed hospital and medical office complex. The combined annual 10,000 surgical pathology and cytopathology cases are rich in general oncology and gynecological oncology specialties.
Commensurate with education and experience
Required Qualifications: Licensed to practice medicine in accordance with Chapter 458, Florida Statutes* plus four years of appropriate experience. Completion of a residency program may substitute for the required experience
