Psychiatrist

to join our

Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT)

in

Raleigh, North Carolina , for

24 hours per week .

Your Role in Our Mission As a Psychiatrist on our ACT team, you will provide essential psychiatric services to individuals living with mental health challenges, helping them achieve recovery and stability in their community. Every day will bring opportunities to make meaningful impacts through compassionate, person-centered care.

You will:

Provide psychiatric services, including evaluation, medication management, and outpatient psychotherapy in a community setting.

Identify appropriate evidence-based or emerging best practice models to be employed by staff in providing services.

Ensure coordination between mental health/substance use services and primary physical health providers.

Consult with primary health providers on the clinical aspects of individuals being served and the implications for overall healthcare needs.

What We’re Looking For To join our team, you must have a willingness to provide care in diverse community settings and a heart for client-centered care.

Requirements

Medical Degree (MD/DO) from an accredited institution with an active, unrestricted license to practice in North Carolina.

Current

Board Certification in Psychiatry ; ASAM-certified or eligible.

Five (5) or more years of experience providing services to individuals living with mental illness.

Experience treating individuals living with severe mental illness, including Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, and Bipolar I with Psychosis.
