Accounting Manager
to oversee the financial operations of our logistics and supply chain business. This role is responsible for managing the accounting team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining strong internal controls in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily accounting operations including general ledger, billing, AR/AP, and payroll
Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and KPIs
Ensure compliance with GAAP and corporate accounting policies
Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to align financial practices with business activities
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Support audits and regulatory compliance requirements
Mentor and develop accounting staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA preferred)
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role
Logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry experience strongly preferred
Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles
Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics) and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
