We are seeking a seasoned API Test Engineer with over 5 years of experience in manual testing, API testing, and test automation. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in service-level, backend, and API testing, with a solid understanding of the telecom domain.
Your role
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the delivery of high-quality software applications.
Author detailed test cases and scripts for manual and automated testing.
Perform rigorous service-level, API, and backend testing across complex systems and multiple development environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and resolve software defects.
Manage and track multiple testing efforts simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to development and product teams.
Utilize test management tools such as Micro Focus ALM/Octane or equivalent platforms to manage test cases, execution, and reporting.
Your skills and experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on manual, API, and automation testing.
Proven experience in service-level and backend testing methodologies.
Familiarity with telecom domain applications and workflows is highly desirable.
Proficiency in test management tools like MF ALM/Octane or similar.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
