Assist the Director of Finance/Controller in the supervision of the Finance office and with various projects. Ensure the financial reporting requirements are completed in accordance with Hilton’s standards of quality and performance. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Responsibilities
Manage and direct the performance of the Finance staff, to include team member relations, meetings, supplies, disciplinary action, and special projects. Ensure staff is motivated and trained to adequately perform at the expected level. Direct responsibility for Accounts Receivable, Credit and Night Audit staff.
Prepare budget and maintain controls on spending to ensure budgetary limits are met. Prepare Annual Depreciation schedules for furniture, equipment, building supplies, revisions and alterations.
Review and approve all ledger account reconciliations to include; bank statements, assets liabilities and credit cards. Coordinate and review monthly financial statements for accuracy. Monitor coding of cash receipts.
Assist Director of Finance-Controller in internal daily audits of cash deposits, transfers and the preparation/monitoring of the Capital budget. Prepare financial reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
Review and approve tax returns to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Prepare the utilities and telephone accruals monthly. Monitor records of inventory to control accuracy of supply distribution. Ensure corporate compliance with all billing and credit standards.
Requirements
Experience as an Assistant Director or Hotel Controller
Experience with Budgeting and Forecasting
Experience with Uniformed systems of Accounting
Preferred Qualifications
CPA
Hilton Proprietary systems experience
Experience with Prop Plan
Job Type: Management
Salary range: $65,000 - $80,000 DOE
