Solenis has been recognized as a Best Managed Company for 4 consecutive years and was named as 2024 Best Managed Company Gold Standard Winner.**Role*** The individual in this role under minimum guidance, plans and executes the design & development of new product / innovation project.* Responsible for generating ideas, developing product, and executing customer validation trials for assigned projects under minimum guidance* Demonstrates understanding of the basic principles and applications in the Project.* Individual must apply and interpret standard scientific theories, concepts and techniques.* Provides creative solutions and patentable technologies for solving assigned innovation projects.* Under minimum guidance, able to plan and perform laboratory experimentation, customer trials, and operates various machines and testing equipment in evaluation of products.* Regularly communicates progress of and requirements to complete assigned work with manager and project teams.**Key Result Areas*** Plan and execute product Innovation for Ideation, Product development & Validation stage.* Support in developing/improving and implementation of Global laboratory best practices.* Demonstrated ability to deliver projects within agreed time and budget* Compliance of laboratory with company safety regulations* Under minimum guidance be able to Identify potential Project technical risks and execution of mitigation plan* Manage technical database and Document product design and performance specifications.to ensure ISO compliance.* Under minimum guidance, execute the Stage Gate process as per appropriate project management tools in the Ideation, Development and Validation Phase.* Responsible for all key tasks of new product introduction such as Development, planning, Design of experiments, Validations etc.* Under minimum guidance conducts research and investigations to design and develop a product or process.* Execute project plans and schedules for timely completion of projects.* Under minimum guidance, develops test procedures and policies for evaluating raw materials, work in process and finished products* Regularly Interact & communicate with Global R&D team and work in collaboration with multifunctional Teams (Marketing, Analytical, Regulatory etc.)Functional Knowledge / Skills* Must be self-motivated, passionate towards research, creative, learning aptitude, result oriented. Presentation Skills,* Excellent Chemical and technical know – how, understanding of Chemistry/Formulations fundamentals, Good conceptual & problem solving skills essential,* Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Ability to lead and drive execution of scientific projects with clear accountability**Qualification*** M. Tech. / Ph.D (Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Technology or equivalent)* Six Sigma: Yellow Belt / Stage gate process / Project Management preferred* Ph.D (Fresh)/ MTech (1-3 yrs)/MSc (5-8 yrs)* Experience in chemical, **Detergent, Surfactant / FMCG**, specialty Industry, **Dairy, Brewery, Beverage, Food Industry**At Solenis, we understand that our greatest asset is our people.
