Job Overview
Ebenezer Senior Living is seeking a Web Developer to design, build, and maintain high-quality websites for our portfolio of senior living communities. This role is essential in delivering efficient, accessible, and brand-aligned digital experiences that support new community onboarding and meet performance standards.
The Web Developer will collaborate closely with our internal marketing team, including a web designer, copywriter, and SEO consultant to deliver functional, mobile-responsive, and search-optimized websites. Responsibilities also include ongoing site maintenance, analytics implementation, and CMS management (WordPress and HubSpot).
Location Requirement:
This is a hybrid role with a mandatory minimum of two days per week in our Edina office.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain community websites on WordPress and HubSpot CMS
Collaborate with internal team to execute page layouts, templates, and mobile-responsive designs
Implement technical SEO best practices (e.g., redirects, schema, Core Web Vitals)
Ensure all websites meet WCAG 2.1+ accessibility standards
Integrate and manage embedded HubSpot forms, analytics scripts, and call tracking
Support microsites and campaign landing pages
Manage CMS security updates, plugin health, and hosting backups
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and device responsiveness
Participate in process documentation, internal training, and digital infrastructure planning
Stay up to date with digital and accessibility trends
Required Experience
5 or more years experience with HubSpot CMS and embedded marketing tools
8 or more years experience advanced WordPress development (custom themes, templates, plugins)
Preferred Experience
Bachelor of Science Web Development, Computer Science, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5 or more years experienceyears Experience in senior living or healthcare
5 or more years experienceyears Understanding of accessibility (WCAG), mobile-first design, GA4, GTM
5 or more years experience Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Compensation Disclaimer The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.
