BU Supply Chain Manager Location: Monroe, US, 28110

Employment Type: Permanent

Responsibilities

Ownership of internal supply chain processes across the different departments from customer to supplier

Optimizing information flow across the company from sales forecasting to production planning / purchasing

Ownership of the sales and operation planning process including demand planning, supply planning, balancing and decision making

Bottleneck management for capacity gaps and support in managing significant changes in the demand (loss or win of large customers)

Data analysis and data preparation in support of decision making regarding SCM topics

Development maintenance, and reporting of local SCM KPI system with focus on availability, inventory, and on time delivery to customer

Ownership of intercompany network topics and purchases related to local bottlenecks

Ownership of local inventory planning & strategies depending on demand and capacity forecasts in regard to the supply chain

Improvement of SAP supply chain key topics in the area of the modules PP & MM

Ownership of the planning and short- term production forecasting

Other duties as assigned

Authority

Ability to represent GBO in supply chain topics with suppliers / customers in a professional manner

Ability to communicate clearly with employees at all levels of the organization

Ability to take proactive approach to overcome challenges and achieve results

Authority to define intercompany purchases of components and finished products

Your Profile

Bachelor’s degree in a supply chain related topics preferred and/or equal experience

Advanced logistics knowledge and / or experience

Advanced knowledge/experience in inventory optimization / planning strategies

Advanced theoretical supply chain and production knowledge

Advanced knowledge/experience in capacity analysis and manufacturing footprint planning

Knowledge of FDA regulations

Knowledge of relevant ISO, GMP standards

Industry certifications (e.g., APICS CSCP) preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Strong analytical and math skills

ERP experience, SAP preferred

Effective oral and written communication

Proven track record of process improvement

Valid Driver's Licenses

Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit or stand up to 12 hours and ability to lift 50lbs
