Civil Litigation - Associate Attorney

Responsibilities: Represent clients in all phases of civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and court appearances Conduct legal research and draft motions, memoranda, and briefs Engage in negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel Work closely with senior attorneys to prepare cases for hearings and trials Qualifications: Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school Admission to practice law in New York State (federal admission a plus) 2+ years of civil litigation experience Strong research, drafting, and oral advocacy skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to professionalism and client service Compensation & Benefits: Base salary: $110,000 – $125,000 per year No-cost health insurance for basic plans, free dental and vision coverage 401(k) with 6% match at 100% Over 6 weeks of paid time off after 18 months of full-time employment
