Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) Job Responsibilities and Required/Preferred Skills and Requirements The Cath Lab Technologist will assist in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures including cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty, stent placements, EP studies, and vascular interventions. Responsibilities include accurate monitoring, EKG lead placement, room circulation, hemodynamic monitoring, and procedural support for cardiac and vascular cases. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab/IR Tech experience Proficiency in cardiac stent placement, left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, pacemaker insertion, and electrophysiology studies Ability to perform peripheral and vascular procedures (angioplasty, carotid stenting, thrombectomy, IVC filter placement, dialysis graft interventions, TIPS, etc.) Experience starting IVs, handling Rotablader, ablations, and venous access Must live within 30 minutes of facility while on call Certifications (Required): BLS ACLS ARRT (R) or RCIS State License (as applicable) Preferred Experience: Community hospital experience Pacemaker procedures Rhythm interpretation and vital monitoring Familiarity with Philips and Siemens fluoroscopy suites, Philips ISVC PACS, Philips Xper hemodynamics, and Maquet IABP Scheduling Details: Call required: 7–10 shifts per month Call hours: 17:30–07:00 weekdays; 17:30 Friday–07:00 Monday weekends Float: Not required Block schedule: Not available Pre-approved time off: None Patient Population & Unit Info: Adults and geriatrics in a procedural Cath/IR environment Approximately 8 procedures daily across 4 rooms Procedures include cardiac cath (with and without intervention), STEMI response, vascular and pain management procedures, cardiac rhythm management, and EP ablations Interdisciplinary support includes PT, RT, Radiology, Pharmacy, Lab, Social Services, and Rapid Response Teams COVID/Flu Vaccine Requirement:
